Codename W.A.L.T.E.R (Whimsical Autonomous LighT Energy Robot)
This guy is made from a Parallax Boe Bot with the PING))) ultrasonic sensor (eyes) and the tank tread kit. The code mas modified from the Parallax default RoamingWithPINGv1.0.bs2 code to work with the tank treads.
In the future I plan to add a 2-axis accelerometer so it knows if it's tipping over and also integrate the IR sensors for more accurate object detection. But for now, check out his progress in this video!
